The Fund invests strategically in Loudoun County to support the area of human services, with a focus on youth/children, older adults/seniors, and people with disabilities in Loudoun County.Loudoun County has some complex community needs, including affordable housing and the challenges to the County’s education and health infrastructures caused by an ever growing and widely diverse population. Our county is also home to grantmakers who direct a large amount of funding to these projects. The Community Foundation looks for gaps where our resources can do the greatest good – programs, causes or places in our community that deserve attention but aren’t getting it. We take a practical approach to closing (or at least narrowing) those gaps with thoughtful and timely grants.

Members make an annual, tax deductible contribution of $1,000 for individuals and $5,000 for corporations. Membership benefits include:- A seat on the Loudoun Impact Fund Grants Committee, the volunteer, community based group that makes all final grant recommendations from the Loudoun Impact Fund
- Invitations to all Community Foundation special events
- Special recognition in the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia’s Annual Report (you may choose to donate anonymously as well)
