Bolden Family Fund

Established by Major General Charles F. Bolden, Jr. and his family, the Bolden Family Fund reflects their lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and expanding opportunities for others. General Bolden served as NASA’s 12th Administrator, leading the agency through a pivotal era of space exploration and scientific discovery.

Before leading NASA, General Bolden served for 34 years in the United States Marine Corps, flying more than 100 combat missions as a Marine aviator. During his astronaut career, he traveled to space four times, including missions that deployed the Hubble Space Telescope and advanced international cooperation in space exploration.

Through this fund, Bolden, his wife Alexis, and their children – U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Anthony Bolden and Kelly Bolden, M.D. – will carry forward this legacy of service by supporting charitable causes that strengthen communities and inspire future generations.
