Collective Impact in Northern Virginia

The Community Foundation currently administers two giving circles, the Business Women's Giving Circle and the Loudoun Impact Fund, each with its own distinct set of funding priorities based on the collective wishes of group members. In addition, it holds the historic fund for the Giving Circle of HOPE.  Click on each of the giving circles below for the details on their grants process to determine your organization’s eligibility to apply.

Business Women's Giving Circle

Business Women's Giving Circle
The Business Women's Giving Circle, a group comprised of accomplished business women in Northern Virginia, supports programs and organizations in our region that promote business innovation, entrepreneurship, and inventive opportunities for women and girls.

Loudoun Impact Fund

Loudoun Impact Fund
The Loudoun Impact Fund is a giving circle of engaged Loudoun County donors managed in partnership by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. The Fund invests strategically in Loudoun County to support the area of human services, with a focus on youth/children, older adults/seniors, and people with disabilities.

Giving Circle of HOPE

Giving Circle of HOPE
The Giving Circle of HOPE consists of a community of givers that give money, time, and support to worthy nonprofits with an operating budget equal to or less than $1 million. GCH has recently become a component chapter of the 100 Who Care Alliance. Grants are now awarded on a quarterly basis based on member nomination and majority vote. Grant applications are no longer accepted.
