Reston Scholarship Fund

Established: February 18, 2017

The mission of the Reston Scholarship Fund is to reinforce one of the goals set by founding father Robert Simon in 1962 for the new town of Reston. As he intended, Reston has from its beginning been a community of diverse income levels. In our public schools, students of different economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds have long advanced together from kindergarten through high school.

This Fund provides ten scholarships of $4,000 each, renewable for four years of college, to high school seniors graduating from South Lakes High school in Reston, Virginia.
