March 19, 2025 | 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Monument Wealth Management
1940 Duke Street Suite 6100, Alexandria, VA 22314 (6th Floor)

Join the Community Foundation's Renée Byng Yancey, Gabrielle Webster, Emily Harper, CFP®  and Jessica Gibbs, CFP® , experts from Monument Wealth Management, as we cover relevant data and insight into trends in family giving and multi-generational philanthropy. Explore the solutions that philanthropic and financial advisors can offer to clients.

Professional advisors should closely monitor multi-generational giving trends, especially as significant wealth transfers are taking place. According to Global Finance Magazine, “Younger generations have no loyalty towards their parents’ preferred banks . . . In fact, 87% of children plan to take management of their inheritance elsewhere.” Global Finance Magazine and other sources are calling for an estimated $84 trillion in wealth to be transferred from Baby Boomers to Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z over the next two decades. A lack of perceived loyalty could have a major impact on professional advisors and charitable organizations alike, affecting family giving dynamics.

This event is free to attend.  Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

This session is hosted in partnership between the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and Monument Wealth Management.
