Initiatives like the Department of Play in Boston have pioneered placemaking through public art. Temporary installations engage residents, encourage interaction, and grow community. Leaders across America now recognize the power of public art to break down cultural barriers and advance their missions in housing, workforce, transportation, health, and the environment. So what are we waiting for? It’s time to PLAY! Join us for a fun, interactive discussion of how we can co-create more vibrant public spaces that engage, interact, and transform the region.
