Cameron and Virginia Dye Scholarship Fund


The Cameron and Virginia Dye Scholarship Fund provide scholarships for graduates of Arlington Public Schools to pursue degree-producing courses of study at accredited U.S. universities. Cameron and Virginia Dye were long-time Arlington residents with a shared commitment to making a positive difference for young people. The Dye family established the scholarship to help promising students in need of financial assistance to go to college. The scholarship recognizes community service, school activities, financial need and academic achievement.


Three scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded in 2021. This scholarship is non-renewable.


  • Must be a graduating senior of Arlington Public High Schools.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
  • Applicants must complete an online application and submit a high school transcript, student financial aid report and SAT or ACT Scores.


This scholarship will open for applications in 2022, with the following schedule:
January 10, 2022 Online application opens
February 7, 2022 Online application due
June, 2022 Scholarship recipient(s) notified
August, 2022 Scholarship payments sent to recipients College/University
