Miss Aranetta Memorial Scholarship Fund
Loudoun

The Miss Aranetta Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor a beloved dance teacher through a scholarship to one deserving student each year for postsecondary education or college tuition.
Aranetta Manley, known by her students as Miss Aranetta or Miss A, was a well-respected and caring dance teacher at her dance studio Academy of Dance and Movement in Virginia. Miss Aranetta taught dance for over 50 years to hundreds of children throughout her lifetime. She was considered a second mom, mentor, and friend to her "studio girls." Her love for dance began when she was 3 years old and lasted 75 years. She always was involved with the dance community and dancers in one way or another. One of her heart's passions was spreading her love of dance. The dance world was very fortunate to have such an inspirational teacher grace the stage.
