Brian N. Vogel Positive Change Fund

The Brian N. Vogel Positive Change Fund has been established to continue Brian’s legacy of kindness and generosity.

Grants will be awarded to local and national charities and organizations noted for their efficiency and high ratings from Charity Navigator.

In 2026, to date, grants from the Brian N. Vogel Positive Change Fund were made to the following:

• Feeding America ($1000),
• Direct Relief ($500),
• Wildlife Conservation Society ($500),
• Maritime Aquarium ($500),
• Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo/Connecticut Zoological Society ($500), and
• Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation ($500).

In 2025, grants from Brian’s Fund were made to:

• Folds of Honor ($1000),
• World Central Kitchen ($1000),
• Charity: Water ($750),
• Heifer International ($500),
• Great Aspirations Scholarship ($500),
• National Ironworkers and Employers Apprenticeship Trainings and Journeyman ($750),
• Americares Donate to Texas ($1500),
• Stephen Siller Tower to Tunnels Foundation ($2500),
• World Central Kitchen ($750),
• Catholic Charities ($750), and
• Feeding America ($750). 

In 2024, grants from Brian’s Fund were made to:

• Feeding America ($500),
• World Central Kitchen ($750),
• Direct Relief ($500), 
• Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation ($1,500),
• Els For Autism Foundation ($1,500),
• Feeding America ($750)
• American Red Cross ($750), and
• United Way of Asheville ($1,000).

In 2023, grants from Brian’s Fund were made to: 

• The Uygher Human Rights Project ($500),
• St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ($500),
• Meals on Wheels SF ($500),
• Old Skool Café ($500)
• The Great Aspirations Scholarship Program (GRASP - $500),
• Direct Relief ($500),
• High Atlas Foundation ($750), and
• World Central Kitchen ($750).

In 2022 grants from Brian’s Fund were made to: 

• The Great Aspirations Scholarship Program (GRASP - $500), 
• World Central Kitchen ($3,500),
• Direct Relief ($1,000), 
• Charity: Water ($1,000),
• 2022 TCS New York City Marathon Fundraising benefiting City Harvest, on behalf of Team BlackRock Fundraising ($1,000),
• ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation ($1,000), and
• Heifer International ($1,000).

In 2021, with the establishment of the Brian N. Vogel Positive Change Fund, grants were made to the following:

• Feeding America ($500),
• Make A Wish Foundation ($500),
• Americares ($1,000).

Future Grants and Awards will include, but will not be limited to, supporting education, addressing hunger, promoting wellness, and assisting meaningful entrepreneurial and/or small business ventures.
