This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use any Personal Information (as defined below) you provide to us, whether online or offline.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” is defined to mean your name, company affiliation, title, home address, business address, personal email, business email, phone numbers. It also includes any credit card information (including account number, date of expiration, security code, and billing address), even though the Community Foundation does not retain such credit card information in any way after you enter it.

Website Visits and Online Registrations

When you visit us online, you remain anonymous. We do not require registration to view our website or access information.

If you choose to register via this website for a Community Foundation related event or to register for copies of our electronic newsletter and other updates regarding Community Foundation events, impact, news, and the like, we will request some Personal Information through both online registration functions. The Community Foundation will not share, distribute, sell, or make public any Personal Information gathered therefrom.

If at any time you wish to stop receiving Community Foundation electronic newsletters or other updates, or to be removed from our email list, you may unsubscribe from that list as explained in each message.

Throughout our website we offer links to third party sites. Since we do not control those websites, we encourage you to review their privacy policies as well.


Donations

If you are a donor to the Community Foundation, online or offline, your Personal Information, plus other optional information you may be requested to provide such as preferred name for donor listings or indications of anonymity, will not be shared, distributed, sold or made public.

There are three exceptions to this statement.

The first exception is that, as a donor to the Community Foundation, your name will be published in the Community Foundation’s Annual Report covering the year in which your donation was made, unless you have indicated anonymity in connection therewith.

The second exception is if you donate (online or offline) to some donor created fund (such as a donor advised fund or scholarship fund) that you did not establish, in which event your name, mailing address, and the date and amount of your donation will be shared with the designated fund representative who established the fund. In the event you would like more information about who is the designated fund representative on any fund you wish to donate to, please call or email the Director of Donor Relations, whose name and email appears on every fund page and is also available under “About”, “People,” “Community Foundation Staff.”

The third and final exception is if you donate (online or offline) to one of the following listed funds, in which event your name, mailing address, the date and amount of your donation, email, and phone number will be shared with the designated fund representatives indicated below:
