Senior Director of Finance and Administration
The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia is seeking a Senior Director of Finance and Administration to ensure the achievement of the Foundation's financial goals and directino. This position requires hands-on support of the day-to-day tactical accounting operations while providing strategic leadership through financial analysis, insights, and forecasting. This team member will work in collaboration with the CEO and provide oversight to ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded in accordance with U.S. Accounting Standards and National Standards for Community Foundations.Applications must be submitted by May 22, 2025.

Support the Raise the Region Gala
The Raise the Region Gala is the Community Foundation’s annual mission-critical fundraising event that welcomes more than 700 business and community leaders each fall. It includes a live and silent auction, awards ceremony, and seated dinner. The Community Foundation convenes a volunteer committee to support efforts to bring community members to the event and to secure unique and exciting items and experiences for the auction. If you are interested in dressing up for a fun evening, we need volunteers to help out at the event itself with registration and checkout, live auction support, and more.This email address is being protected from spambots. Intern at the Community Foundation
The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia often offers a summer internship to support its work across all departments. Internships are paid and can also be offered for class credits in coordination with a student’s school if desired.Our 2025 Summer Internship is now open for applications.
