Gregory M. Denkler Memorial Fund

Established: February 12, 2015

The Gregory M. Denkler Memorial Fund was established to advance brain tumor research, treatment and care.  In addition, through grants to deserving programs, the Fund is dedicated to encouraging the lifelong pursuit of healthy minds, bodies and spirits. 

The Fund operates in honor and celebration of Greg Denkler – devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coach, mentor, colleague, leader, shipmate, friend.  Generous with his time and attention, he was thoughtful, kind and genuine, and he loved his family and friends openly and proudly.

Greg was a passionate learner, a gifted athlete, and a man of great faith.  He steadfastly sought to improve his mind, to challenge his body, and to nurture his spirit, and he diligently sought to help others do the same.        

“Encourage me and I will not forget you.”  Greg saw the potential in others, and encouraged so many in countless ways.  He lives on in the hearts of all of those whose lives he touched.  Through this fund, may he continue to improve the lives of many more.
