An Endowment for Mental Health Needs in Northern Virginia

The Mental Health Fund, a component fund of the Permanent Fund for Northern Virginia, is a permanent community endowment at the Community Foundation dedicated to the mental health and well-being of all members of the Northern Virginia community. Grants are awarded annually through the Community Investment Funds cycle.

In 2022, the Community Foundation launched a mental health campaign, establishing a $121,000 permanent community endowment to support accessible, affordable, and quality mental health services for our region, built upon Insight Region^TM data from our report: Finding Our way Back to Mental Health.
