Knowing the opening hours of popular stores and other stores that serve food is very important so that you can plan how to operate your store to gain the most customers while minimizing costs. For example, if you are the manager of a large retail store you may not have time to go into detail about morrisons store opening times, but knowing basic facts like when the store closes can help you run your store more efficiently. If you are planning to start your own small business you can also know when the most popular stores are going to be closed so that you can operate your business accordingly. This knowledge will allow you to have enough time to prepare your business before the big day arrives. More information about opening times for popular retail stores:

Plant NOVA Natives Fund

Established: May 30, 2017

plant nova nativesPlant NOVA Natives is a joint marketing campaign of over a hundred private, public, and non-profit organizations, and hundreds of individuals. Our mission is to educate the community and to promote the benefits to water quality and natural habitat of planting beautiful Northern Virginia natives, through the efforts of committed volunteers using multimedia outreach and events, and by working with local landscapers and sellers of native plants. All are welcome to participate in this collective action movement.

Volunteers provide the bulk of our outreach. Your donation will help pay for stickers on plants in garden centers, tabling materials for volunteers at events, Facebook ads, conference expenses and our website. Consider also a gift through the Reforest Fairfax campaign - a great way to support native plants in honor of a loved one!

Please note that all donations are tax-deductible. If you would like to donate by check, please make it payable to CFNOVA with PNN in the memo line, addressed as follows:

Community Foundation for Northern Virginia
2940 Hunter Mill Road
Suite 201
Oakton, VA 22124

This Fund can accept Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs).  QCDs may be allocated to the Plant NOVA Natives’ fund by making the distribution payable to “Community Foundation for Northern Virginia” with a designation to Plant NOVA Natives in any supporting literature.
