Membership Options

Membership - $1,100/year

$1,000 supports BWGC's annual grantmaking and $100 supports administrative expenses. Members can fully participate in the grant process and vote on the grantee slate. Members also have options to attend grantee events, BWGC activities, and socials and collaborative events in the community.

Emerging Philanthropist Membership - $550/year

$500 supports BWGC's annual grantmaking and $50 supports administrative expenses. Emerging Philanthropist (EP) Membership level is for women 25-34. EP members can fully participate in the grant process and vote on the grantee slate. Members also have options to attend grantee events, BWGC activities, and socials and collaborative events in the community. EP members are asked to contribute to the work of BWGC through committees or specific functions that assist the committee members.

  • Collective Philanthropy - Give back in meaningful ways that drive a greater collective impact through your annual membership donation* Join in our Grants process in the Fall.
  • Business Networking - Enhance and expand your professional relationships at several events throughout the year.
  • Education Opportunities - Attend events that interest you, from educational opportunities to networking, we have something for everyone.
  • Leadership Development - Opportunities to develop your Board experience and leadership roles in various BWGC Committees, let us know what you are interested in as a member.
  • Community Engagement - Engage and enhance your involvement with the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. Get to know more about our community.
