Northern Virginia (January 12, 2026) – The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia (CFNOVA) has announced that the 2026 Scholarship Cycle is officially open, starting today January 12, 2026. High-school students from Northern Virginia may now select from over thirty CFNOVA scholarship funds to apply.

Da'Nasia is a 2025 graduate of Unity Reed High School, and is pursuing her degree at Virginia Commonwealth University.Individual scholarship awards range from $1,200 to $5,000 for students interested in a specific field of study at the undergraduate level or with specific interests. Some scholarships are renewable for up to four years. The deadline to apply for funding is March 5, 2026.
