Last year, we awarded $763,969 to 44 organizations. Funds are invested in organizations serving the Northern Virginia community in the areas of aging, the arts, child and youth development, education, the environment, intellectual and developmental disabilities, Latino engagement and achievement, mental health, military personnel and their families, and safety net support. Applications are due on February 7, 2024 at 5pm. Organizations can learn more and apply here. In January 2024, we hosted an informational webinar. 2023 Scholarship WinnersThe Community Foundation for Northern Virginia manages 35 scholarship funds that support Northern Virginia students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. Last year we awarded $551,650 to 142 students. Those interested can learn more about the scholarships and apply here.
