For 2024, the Business Women's Giving Circle at the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia has awarded funding to these three incredible organizations making a difference in the lives of young women and girls in the region:

Boolean Girl Inc.— $15,000
Boolean Girl’s Saturday STEM Clubhouse
Serving Arlington County
Funding will support a STEM Clubhouse that provides a fun and supportive community for elementary school girls. Girls will explore coding and engineering and engage in hands-on creative learning. The Clubhouse seeks to encourage girls to develop and pursue their interests in STEM by providing peer support and mentors.

Sustainability Matters— $20,000

EcologiGALS
Serving Fairfax County
EcologiGALS immerses middle- and high-school girls in environmental science through hands-on field work, classroom education, mentorship by college conservation majors, and connections with female environmental leaders.

Year Up National Capital Region— $20,000
Talent for Tomorrow Alliance
Serving All of Northern Virginia
Funding will support the Talent for Tomorrow Alliance’s STEM training for 140 women in Northern Virginia to provide technical skills training, industry specific based-certifications, internships, and wraparound support to prepare women for in-demand jobs.
