The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia welcomes Drew Kolber as our 2025 Summer Intern! She is diving into a dynamic, hands-on experience across marketing, grants, fundraising, and research. From interviewing changemakers and crafting compelling stories to analyzing community data and supporting donor engagement, she will be at the heart of our mission to build a Northern Virginia that works for everyone.
Drew will work closely with our Director of Donor Relations, Gaby Webster, and gain exposure to real-world philanthropy, and sharpen her skills in writing, research, and data analysis.More about Drew
Drew is grateful to join the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia as the 2025 Summer Intern! A rising senior at George Mason University, she is a dedicated student of Conflict Analysis and Resolution with a minor in Religious Studies. Through both her academic coursework and leadership in student organizations, she has developed knowledge of qualitative research methods and experience facilitating cross-cultural dialogue, helping to empower communities with information and build social trust through conversations across difference. She is able to tie this background into her work at the Community Foundation, where she will conduct analysis of community interviews, cultivate digital content, and strengthen the organization's data stewardship. Her work supports the Foundation's mission to understand and respond to community needs. She appreciates the opportunity to support such a committed team.Drew is ready to make a difference this summer. We are thrilled to have her on the team!
