Resilient Communications

The Community Foundation’s Resilient Communications: Cutting Through the Noise During ChallengingTimes webinar was a great learning experience for nonprofit leaders seeking to strengthen their missions through more intentional storytelling and messaging. Participants learned that organizations that consistently prioritized effective communication and emotionally resonant stories were better equipped to deliver on their missions, inspire donors, and offer hope during challenging moments.

Throughout the virtual session, attendees explored how strong communication practices had helped nonprofits weather uncertainty and build the resilience needed to face future challenges. The discussion highlighted how shifting donor expectations and rapidly evolving social conversations required nonprofits to stay nimble, authentic, and deeply connected to the communities they served.

By the end of the webinar, nonprofits walked away with tangible tools (Practical frameworks for agility, audience-centered strategies, and tools for timely storytelling) to communicate with clarity and purpose.

The webinar ultimately empowered organizations to communicate with resilience—helping them stay grounded in their values, prepared for change, and better able to inspire the support their communities depend on.

This session is a part of the Beyond the Grant series hosted by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia.
